PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTSPASSAU, GermanyWater has quite literally shaped the picturesque town of Passau on the border with Austria. Its Altstadt is stacked atop a narrow peninsula that jabs its sharp end into the confluence of three rivers: the Danube, the Inn and the Ilz. The Altstadt remains pretty much as it was when the powerful prince-bishops built its tight lanes, tunnels and archways with an Italiante flourish, but the wes-tern end (around Nibelungenplatz) has received a mo-dern makeover with shopping malls centred around the hang-glider-shaped central bus station (ZOB).

MELK, AustriaWith its sparkling and majestic ab-bey-fortress, Melk is a high point for tourists visiting the Danube Valley. Beyond this mighty mas-terpiece of Baroque art, a not less worthy cultural-historical jewel presents itself. The town center is

quite small, however you still find such a great varie-ty of architectural gems like in hardly any other town of Europe, enabling the visitor to travel throughout the centuries of its history.

VIENNA, AustriaFew cities in the world glide so ef-fortlessly between the present and the past like Vienna. On the one hand we have the tones of Mo-zart, Beethoven and Brahms and the filigree paintings or sketches of Klimt, Schiele and Kokoschka. On the other hand Vienna has an astoundingly colour-ful contemporary culture and arts scene; a burgeoning culinary culture; bustling and lively pubs, bars, coffee shops and beer houses; picturesque vineyards on its edges and and and....

BUDAPEST, HungaryWith its large avenues, handsome mansions, monuments of the 19th century, urban parks and lakes, lively streets, statues and world-renowned art, the capital of Hun-gary appears to be a smaller Paris on the Danube. Discover this gem

of a city with its many different pretty faces. Take a dip in one of the city‘s famous baths, savor the local cui-sine, check out some of the cool, funky shops featuring homegrown designs, walk across the Chain Bridge or just sit, relax and people-watch at one of the great downtown cafés.

ESZTERGOM, HungaryEsztergom, the seat of the Hunga-rian Catholic Church, is one of the oldest towns in Hungary. The Ba-silica of Esztergom, a masterpiece of Classicism, is the third largest church in Europe. Remains of the former royal palace, Turkish, Clas-sicist and Baroque buildings, as well as the Basilica, at-tract many visitors.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON ACTIVITIES For non-performersVIENNAClassical concert: Attend a classical concert at the Konzert-haus in Vienna, which was founded in 1913. It is one of the largest and most progressive music institutions in the world, adding to Vienna’s reputation as one of the world’s capitals of music. The exact concert and pricing will be published closer to the date. Price per person: from € 39.-

Schoenbrunn Castle: Excursion to the Schoenbrunn castle which used to be the residence of the Habsburg emperors from the 18th century to 1918. Renowned worldwide thanks to the “Sissi” movies, the Palace and the Park are Vienna’s number one tourist attraction. During your excursion you can enjoy an Imperial tour through the Castle where you see the apartments of Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elisabeth.

Price per person: € 15,-

BUDAPESTSpa and Wellness: Enjoy a traditional wellness experience du-ring a visit to thermal baths (e.g. Szechenyi Bath). Budapest is also called the “City of Baths” as it is the only city in the world that is rich in thermal waters with healing qualities. Entrance ticket with locker valid for one day and 1 20minute aroma-re-lax or spa massage. Price per person: from € 29,-

Formula 1 Hungaroring: Ready to go behind the scenes of one of the most famous locations of motor sport worldwide? Du-ring a private circuit tour of the Hungaroring you see places usually inaccessible to the public such as the Race Control. On request you can also race the Grand Prix track yourself.

Price per person: from € 15,- p.P. for Circuit tour onlyDriving experience: from € 69,- p.P. (on request)

(Minimum number of participants: 20)

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS BRATISLAVA, SlovakiaThe charming – if tiny – Starý Mes-to (Old Town) is the place to start appreciating Bratislava. Stroll nar-row pedestrian streets of pastel 18th-century buildings or sample the nigh-on ubiquitous sidewalk cafes under the watchful gaze of the city castle, harking back to medieval times. Done with the old? In with the new: the city boasts intriguing Socialist-era architecture worth checking out and one of Eastern Europe‘s most spectacular modern art spaces. Contrasts like this are all part of Bratislava‘s allure.

DUERNSTEIN, AustriaSituated in the heart of the magni-ficent Wachau Valley, on the banks of the mighty River Danube, the charming town of Dürnstein of-fers the unique combination of a breathtaking scenery, traditional architecture, and places of historic

interest. It was in the Kuenringer Castle, whose ruins still overlook Dürnstein, that the English King Richard Lionheart was held prisoner. The breathtaking scenery with its ancient, terraced vineyards, the numerous cul-tural sites and the mild climate will make you want to linger…
