    October 1, 2012: Prague. Arrive in Prague and transfer to the Intercontinental or Hilton OldTown (or similar). The balance of the day is free to start exploring this beautiful city.

    October 2, 2012: Prague. Your morningssightseeing tour reveals why Prague isconsidered one of Europes most attractivecities. Visit the 1,000-year-old HradcanyCastle Courtyard, St. Vitus and then walkover the Charles Bridge to the Old MarketSquare. The evening is free to mingle withthe locals at Wenceslas Square, shop forsouvenirs or enjoy one of the many

    charming cafs or restaurants.

    October 3, 2012: Prague. Spend a day at your leisure to relax and stroll through a museum orgallery, wander along the banks of the Valtava River, relax at an outdoor restaurant or shop forlocal handicrafts and art work. This afternoon, participate in an optional tour to Terezin, theinfamous Nazi WWII concentration camp, now serving as a memorial to those who perished.

    October 4, 2012: Prague- Karlovy VaryNuremberg. Depart from Prague after

    breakfast. Enjoy a short stop in Karlovy Vary,better known by its German name, Carlsbad,which is famous for its Bohemian Spas. Afterlunch, drive through the pastoral countryside toNuremberg, the capital of Franconia and boardthe ms AmaCerto. The ms AmaCerto willmoor overnight in Nuremberg.

    October 5, 2012: Today, decide to tour the medieval history of Nuremberg to see thestorybook 900-year-old ramparts that surround this historic city and Imperial Castle or join themodern tour of the citys role in the 20th century, see the Zeppelin field and the Justice Palacewhere the War Crimes Tribunal sat in 1946. At lunchtime, return to the ship and cruise theMain-Danube Canal to the highest point of your cruise 1,332 feet above sea level, where youcross Europes Continental Divide, then start descending through stair-step locks.

    Germany. This mornings sceniccruising takes you through the final stretchof the Main-Danube Canal to arrive inmagnificent Regensburg, one of

    Germanys best preserved medieval cities.A guided tour will show you the citysarchitectural highlights, including the OldTown Hall and the Porta Praetoria gatesto an ancient Roman fort which was builtin 179 AD. Marvel at beautiful churchesand one of the oldest bridges crossing theDanube.

    Or, take a tour of the Audi Car Factory.In the afternoon, you are free to join the optional excursion to beautiful Weltenburg Abbey in

    the Danube Gorge. In the evening enjoy a musical performance on board.

    October 7, 2012: Passau, Germany Linz, Austria. After breakfast, arrive in picturesquePassau, where the Inn and Ilz Rivers join the Danube. Your city tour takes you on anexploration of this fairy tale locale founded more than 2,000 years ago. Or, substitute the citytour with the optional excursion to Salzburg, birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and thesetting for the Sound of Music. During your walking tour see Mozarts birthplace.
