Crossover Process

Follow up MDT can be held upon a new arrest or as issues arise

MDT recommendations are presented to the Judge by the dependency caseworker at the next court hearing

MDT is held within 7 days of arrest with youth and all parties

FSS Court Liaison cross references the case, sends out appropriate notification and schedules a MDT

JAC staff sends an email blast to all parties that a dependent child has been arrested and has an upcoming court date

JAC staff identify the child as having an open dependency case

Child is arrested and brought to the JAC
