One of the biggest divisions in CG’s Power Business Unit is Projects division of the

company which is EPD. CG started its Projects Division at Mumbai in the year 1978.

Among the first milestones of a turnkey contract were a traction substation and a railway

overhead line project in the year 1983 and by the turn of that decade, CG had joined the

select club of 400 kV EPC substation contractors.

Now headquartered at Gurgaon, INDIA, offers complete services for Design,

Manufacture, Supply, Testing, Transportation, Installation, and Construction of large scale

Turnkey Projects in India & Abroad. EPD provides single window supply source for the

expansive range of CG Products and is slated to play a pivotal role for the requirement of

Power Utilities, Industrial Projects and Core Sector Industries.
