Crescent School of Business was born out of the vision of the founder of BSA Crescent Institute of Science and Technology to establish a world-class business institute in Chennai.

Personalized growth: Each student at CSB undergoes a series of psychometric and evaluative tests at the start of the academic year, based on which the CSB leadership team charts out a personalized growth path for them. Their progress is tracked through monthly feedback sessions and additional measures as required.

Personalized mentorship: Every student at CSB is allotted a personalized mentor during the course of program, based on their area of interest and career goals. This 1:1 mentorship enables a student to learn from another professional’s career experience, so they can make more educated choices in all their endeavors.

India has emerged as the fastest growing major economy in the world as per the Central Statistics Organisation (CSO) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) and it is expected to be one of the top three economic powers of the world over the next 10-15 years. The GDP is estimated to have increased 6.6 per cent in 2017-18 and is expected to grow 7.3 per cent in 2018-19. India is expected to be the third largest consumer economy as its consumption may triple to US$ 4 trillion by 2025, owing to shift in consumer behaviour and expenditure pattern, according to a Boston Consulting Group (BCG) report; and is estimated to surpass USA to become the second largest economy in terms of purchasing power parity (PPP) by the year 2040, according to a report by PricewaterhouseCoopers.Various sectors have contributed for the India’s developments and for the planned developments which is going to happen. It is nevertheless to mention the role played by the Managers at all levels who have made this to happen owing to their quality education in leading management institutes and CRESCENT SCHOOL OF BUSINESS(CSB) has also played a part towards this.

In CSB, we offer Post Graduate Diploma in Management executive program through a well-designed curriculum taught by top notch faculties from India and abroad. In other words, business leaders now need to work and succeed in a complex and non-traditional setting, with multiple stakeholders. CSB aims to equip working professionals, on the job, through management development programs (MDPs) that are short in duration, ranging between few days to few weeks.

CurriculumCSB’s PGDM executive program will push students beyond their boundaries to discover their potential

and to reach their career heights. Students will have to do 6 courses in each term with 30+ hours of

classroom teaching. There will be a module dedicated to experiential learning in the form of live

projects. Students will study 24 core courses and 12 elective courses. In addition to this they will do a

project work. Students will have the option of selecting elective courses according to their aspirations

and the list of electives will be based as per the need of the hour which will include Human Resource,

Marketing, Systems, Operations Management, Finance, Business analytics.

P o s t G r a d u a t e D i p l o m a i n Management (PGDM) for Executives: PGDM executive program for working professionals will be conducted in weekends which will enable them to qualify and enrich them further in their profession.

Management Development Programs (MDPs) : We will offer customized programs for corporations to solve specific business issues at hand. These could involve building a skill or providing knowledge to a certain cadre of management or across cadres.

Management Conferences : CSB will conduct student coordinated conferences across key management verticals of HR, Operations, Marketing and Finance where it br ings together the industry and academicians to talk about transformations in business. These serve as a platform for expert speak coupled with learning, knowledge sharing and networking.

Who can apply?

CSB takes the overall score of a candidate obtained through his work experience, CSBAT, and personal interviews. To be eligible to apply for our 15 months PGDM executive program, a candidate should be a

Graduate with minimum 50% marks

Should have good communication skills

Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in-person interview. There will be a minimum of two rounds of interviews. We review complete applications on a rolling basis and preference will be given to early applicants.

Placements

The decision of the admissions committee shall be final in deciding the selection of a candidate.

Anna Salai. Spread over a plush 24,000 sq. ft, the

entire campus is furnished with the state-of-the-art
