Easy and reliable method for molar distalization by using the TADs and PSL

Abstract

Molar distalization has been one of the most important goal in traditional orthodontic treatment. Headgear and all kinds of distalizer have been tried, one of the most famous example is Pendulum appliance, though at the beginning lots of spaces been created, but due to loss of anchorage it also creates large amount of anterior flaring, for solving the anterior flaring most of the spaces gained lost again, it means its so difficult to get net gain.Now with the advanced technology of combining TADs (Temporary Anchorage Devices) and PSL (Passive Self Ligating Brackets), the net gain of distalization can be achieved easily.The reliable method of placing the TADs will be introduced and demonstrated with plenty of clinical application.
