Current developmentsFeedback was sought in March and April 2018 on a proposal to extend the planned review date for 26 Creative Artsqualifications. Consultation closed on 16 April 2018, and versions 1 of the qualifications were republished in May toextend the qualification review date to 31 July 2020.

NQS continues to invite expressions of interest in regard to the qualification developer role for qualifications, areas orsuites of qualifications in Creative Arts.

Qualification developer roleNZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) has been interim qualification developer for 26 Creative Arts qualifications.This arrangement is until such time an alternative qualification developer/s is found. NQS will continue in this role untilthat occurs.

NQS invites expressions of interest in regard to the qualification developer role for qualifications, areas, or suites ofqualifications, in Creative Arts. To express interest, please email creativeartsquals.review@nzqa.govt.nz.

Responsibilities of a qualification developer

The responsibilities of a qualification developer are set out in Rule 13.1 of the NZQF Qualification Listingand Operational Rules 2016: http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/about-us/our-role/legislation/nzqa-rules/nzqf-related-rules/nzqf-qualification-listing-and-operational-rules-2016/qualification-developers/13/.
