The risk factors during the dry dock period dramatically increase with a large number of unfamiliar contractors on board, along with the quantity of high risk activities taking place including hot works, working at height, and enclosed space entries.

Dealing with any potential emergency is likely to be much more challenging and difficult to co-ordinate.

We will reduce the risk and concerns by focusing on the potential for incidents, preventing them and if the worst does occur, helping to deal with them.

Fire Aid’s origin is as a World Class training provider, training fire fighters and ships crewsfor many years in all aspects of emergency preparedness. Therefore the training of the fire guards and supervisors is delivered by our own experts toensure the highest standards are in place to protect your vessel.

We hand pick the right personnel for the role and train them at oneof our facilities in the UK or Macedonia.

Training is a key element and we set the standards in Fire Guard, Tank Attendant,Working at Height and other dry dock related training.

Why trust the safety of the crew and vessel to someone who is inadequately trained and notdedicated to the job, by using our fire guards, tank attendants and supervisors you havepiece of mind that they have been hand picked and trained to the highest standard possible.
