The Global Education Challenge

According to the United Nations, the world needs to add 14 million additional teachers to meet the demand of K-12 schools.

The quality of traditionally delivered learning and teaching content is outdated and suboptimal in the emerging markets region.

The cost of publishers’ and officially vetted content is high and the model of a complete textbook is not what educators are looking for - Educators want, contextual, flexible, high quality content elements rather than complete textbooks.

Individual content creators do not have a broad distribution platform (even Khan Academy).
