PROPOSAL 1: Sporting Activity for StaffObjective: To Promote Work-life Balance and Interaction Among staff

Reference: To create a sustainable workforce

Synopsis:• A team building activity that can be organised for staff to interact with one another

(and can also include family) along the Park Connector Network in Singapore

• Great way to also promote healthy and active living

• Will be a value add if can highlight projects and buildings along the way that had used products from Engro (we have quite a few).

PROPOSAL 2: Community EngagementObjective: To provide staff with opportunity to interact with one another while engaging and serving local community in need of support

Reference: Support for Local Community

Synopsis:• To sponsor lunch and an outing for senior citizens from an elderly home. Staff

involved will assist to organise interaction activities among staff and elder folks to create a good time for them, who otherwise will be stuck in an old folks home.

• Great way to understand and see the needs in Singapore

• An activity that not only engages staff but highlight strong corporate values

PROPOSAL 3: Repair WorkObjective:

To engage and provide basic support to a community (Repair Work)

Reference: Support for an overseas community

Synopsis:

• A team can make a trip to Batam to engage a community by means of activities to kids and gifting of basic items that will aid them in their education (i.e. books and clothes; which staff in HQ can all contribute to)

• Contribution of Cement for repair works will also be a very relevant contribution in such a community engagement project

• This can also be a good platform to build strong bonds among smaller teams within the company

PROPOSAL 4: Building in BatamObjective: To support rebuilding a identified community in Batam (Building Infrastructure)

Reference: Support for overseas community

Synopsis:• A team can make multiple trips to Batam assist the identified community with raw

materials and know how of building useful infrastructure such as road, classroom, accommodation, etc.

• Contribution of basic items like books, food and clothes will certainly be relevant too to encourage participation from whole company

• This can also be a good platform to build strong bonds among smaller teams within the company

An agency manager decided to do something unique for their family day. Together

with his agents, they booked a food court and got his staff to cook food with the aid of

hawkers (some of whom are disabled) and then food they had cooked were served to guests from an elderly home before sharing it with family,

friends and clients.

Staff of Koi Ming Enterprises spent a morning packing foodie goodie bags for senior citizens

at an elderly activity centrewhom they hosted a free lunch, with some fun entertainment, and games. It was certainly fresh break to their regular

routine

In a CSR and staff engagement event, we

arranged for staff to have lunch at a restaurant run by students with special

needs and then built bicycles and donated

them to Boy’s Town in aid of their Outdoor

Education Program for troubled youths.
