Getting started

After you have opened Photostory 3

- select the option to ‘Begin a new story’.

You will need to add images to your story

To import images from your computer select ‘Import Pictures’ then browse for your images.

Handy hint…gather your images and create a folder before you start.

Select ‘Removable disk’ to access your thumb drive or USB

Select the images you want to add to your story and click ok

Adding titles

Type in the box to add a caption or title to your image.

You can choose between white of black text where you want the caption to appear.

Creating motion

You can add a zoom effect for your images to give the illusion of motion.

Narrating your story

Once you have written your script you record each segment to the appropriate image.

Handy Hint: you can re-record if you make a mistake.

Adding music

When you are happy with your narration, you can add music to your story.

Handy Hint: Beware of copyright when adding music. There are several royalty free tracks on the internet but you still need to attribute the author.

Save your story

There are several options available to you. You will also need to choose where to save your story.

We recommend: Save your story to your computer for playback later.

You can now watch your story, share it or upload it to You Tube.
