This is an opportunity to pick your own degree title from a wide range of half degrees that are on offer

What is a joint degree? The study of two subjects rather than one in equal (or

near equal) measure

Is it as good as a single honours degree? It is different, but yes it is as good You will not study one subject in so much depth but,

instead, two subjects in half the depth It means you have a broader education

General Academic Details

Typically there are 3 years of study plus an optional year in placement

A year has two semesters 12 weeks long Typically study 4 modules per semester Each module has 2-4 hours of contact per week Students are expected to undertake100 hours or

so of further independent study per module Assessment is different for each module. Your

computing half will typically consist of a mixture of coursework, exams, and group work.
