Intoduction
Hi my name is Jan Darmovzal but you can call me Jan D. I am from Czech Republic. My hobbies are sports I used to do Judo and nowadays I do long triathlon which are called Iron man.
I am currently a student but since I am in Singapore, I’ve been doing some internship, especially in a law firm and I currently finish internship in Law society of Singapore.
Can you share with us your experiences as a models?
Ok, in the past I've participated in a Axa event. And most recently we took a photoshoot for Saint Keyne and also I think it was last month I participated in an event for Byford.
How do you get to know create talents?
When I was walking, I think if I remember well...When I was walking at Orchard one of your colleague approached me and he gave me your name card. So I was like why not I should give it a try So... Ya, that's why I am here.
How to you fell when you were approached by us?
I mean anytime I am approached by a man in a late night I feel kind of weird but ultimately when I know that he is from modelling agency I was surprised. I mean, surprised in a positive sense of course.
What was the most memorable job that you did?
I think for me it was the Saint Keyne Photoshoot. Because I met a lot of people. Great people. And I think we created together good demand and enjoyed the photoshoot. So it was memorable and I am glad I participated in that.
What are some modelling tips that you can give?
For me, it was definitely, to be natural. The second I think would be, never try too hard. Because too much effort may be contrapositive. And the third type would be keep smiling. Because I think smile itself is a affirmation of life. Ya, that's why.
Do you think that create talents is a scam?
Well, for my personal experience I didn't think so because I was always given a job which I was promise. So, I don't have any negative experience with this agency, with Create Talents and Models.
How has modelling benefited you?
Personally for me I think the most important benefit was that I got to know new people and I bond the network of my friends. Of course I got a new experience is I became more understanding of people who also work in different areas. I think it's important in life, I think we should take any experiences or any opportunity we have. Regardless what are the negative or positive. So I think modelling is one of those thing which are important to try. Regardless of what our interest are.
Have you thought of being in the modelling industry before?
Definitely not because I always thought that Modelling is...Only for Women. I always feel that if man do modelling they are like abit weird. Or they are not in a right sense. But after this experience I change my opinion because I met up with quite a lot of friends who are completely normal who just take it as a job and a experience. Same as me.
Lastly, is there anything you want to add?
I would like to add maybe a conclusion. I think, this job, modelling job, open me door to... To any other areas of the life I got to experience this and I would just like to emphasize that same as in any other jobs there is a need to be fair when I stand. Always try to do your best because our clients basically expect things from you and I formally believe that If you do your best, then...
