Following the decision of the Executive Committee at its meeting on 29 September 2009 in Rio deJaneiro, Brazil, to support the inclusion of futsal in the inaugural World Winter Masters Games to beheld in Bled, Slovenia, from 25 to 31 January 2010, we are pleased to provide you with the followinginformation related to the World Masters Games.

The International Masters Games Association was founded by international sports federations, and isrecognised by the International Olympic Committee. The organisation encourages mature athletesfrom all over the world to practice sports regularly, with the awareness that competitive sport cancontinue throughout life and improve personal fitness.

FIFA is pleased w ith the inclusion of futsal on the programme for the World Winter Masters Gamesand would like to encourage its members to participate in the event. World Winter Masters Games will be held for the first time between 25 and 31 January 2010 inBled, Slovenia and are unique possibility for you to get an »olyrnpic style« experience and feel theexcitement of thebiggest sportsevents In the world.

Games include competition in Alpine Skiing (Kran)ska Gora), Cross Country Skiing and Biathlon(Pokljuka), Ski Jumping (Kranj and Trzic), IceHockey(Bled, Jeseniceand Kranj) and as presentationsport also Indoor Football or Futsal whichwill beheld in eight different sports hall around Bled .

World Winter Masters Games are run under the International Masters Games Association IMGArecognized by International Olympic Committee. Founders of IMGA and consequently the WorldWinter MastersGames areInternational federationsamong othersalsoFIS, IIHF, IBU and FIFA whosesport disciplinesare on the program of the Games.

The accompanying program in Bled will beavailable for competitors as well as for the masters'family and friends.Opening ceremony will be held on January 25 in Bled, closingceremony will be held on January30 In KranjskaGora. Everyone will be invited and will have the possibility to end successful Games with a great party.During the week also special gatherings will beorganized In Kranj or Bled .
