Please check out the complete Festival lineup on pages 4 & 5 - we think youwill be excited about the artists and events that are scheduled. The new Jazz Party willfeature live music in four venues in one building - the new Condominium at 1500North 6th Street. We will have on the roof of the building withJazz Under the Stars
Diane Wilson Bedford and Jim Wood’s Trio - this is the only ticketed event and thereis limited attendance (150 people) so order your tickets early. The TimbersRestaurant in Mt. Gretna will be the site for our Jam Session on Sunday, Aug 10 from3:30-6:30 p.m. Please call them for reservations as this venue also has limited seating -they also do not take credit cards - cash or check only, please come prepared. Wesuggest that you have dinner and drinks at the Timbers and then head over to theGretna Playhouse for the double bill of Lee Smith’s Sextet and Hendrik MeurkensSamba Jazz Quartet - it should be a great day - see the whole Festival story on page 5.
Thanks to all who responded to our Festival appeal - we truly appreciate yourgenerous support!
