What is the purpose of an Annotated Bibliography?- to describe and explain the context, relevance, accuracy and quality of a resource.
Compiling an annotated bibliography is a very helpful part of creating a research essay, research project or dissertation. The work you do in finding and selecting relevant references supports your research idea and aids your further investigation.
