To Whom It May Concern

The current position I hold is that of an Enterprise Proposal Manager within the bids team for the relationship management team, part of a FTSE30 organisation supporting multiple business verticals; the role is to provide support to the Strategic Account Directors in the pursuit of cross vertical multimillion pound opportunities by managing of the bid process, creating bespoke proposals and content, pulling together multi discipline expertise, leading the Pink and Red review meetings and adhering to the companies corporate governance.

I acted as the bid manager for the successful Thames Water bid that pulled together one of the largest M,E&I (mechanical, electrical and instrumentation) opportunities for the organisation, successfully delivering the bid content by creating a compelling proposal that was delivered on time and to budget.

In April 2015 I introduced a company wide Net Promoter Score (NPS) to the businesses with a combined turnover of over £650 million. I developed a new improved customer feedback system, which launches on the 1st May 2015.  These changes arose through me identifying a weakness in the business and creating a proposal for change. Using my Prince2 qualification I project managed the end-to-end process from concept and design to engagement with stakeholders, both internal and external, and the launch of a whole new process.

Previously I worked as the Performance Assurance Manager at Reading Prison, prior to its closure and my subsequent redundancy. Working at a senior manager level, I had multiple responsibilities including budgetary.

I managed and delivered the self-audit and compliance process, the establishment’s performance and project planning process analysing data from a range of sources, creating reports, including recommendations for improvements and provided strategic advice to the Senior Management Team.

I led, in conjunction with the Governing Governor, the Corporate & Information Risk Registers process, identifying the biggest risks in the various business areas and supporting the departments in mitigating them.

Acting as the establishment’s Communications manager, Local Information Manager & Information Asset Representative (IAR), I was responsible for policy writing, ensuring compliance with national legislations, laws, acts of Parliament and for ensuring Freedom of Information Requests were managed and responded to in accordance with national policy and timelines.

I developed and grew my department, including new processes procedures and staffing, guaranteeing the best possible service is being provided whilst delivering value for money.

The establishment had been through several cost saving initiatives and I was tasked with investigating the use and effectiveness of IT equipment with a look at reducing the on-going cost.

I identified several PC’s that were not being fully utilised and made the decisive decision to relocate and remove multiple assets from none essential areas to maximise performance and accessibility leading to a significant saving of 0.5% of the £250,000 budget, I was subsequently delegated the budget for IT and Telephony in April 2013 and tasked with making further savings following a decrease of £110,000 in the combined budgets.

Kindest Regards
