Introduction
Think back to your most memorable moments from you education...Chances are that it revolves around a positive experience you had or shared with others.
It is these experiences that help to shape and mold our future and it is a privilege to be a part of that process.
Hello. I am Jonathan Marsh and this is who I am and what I bring to your school…

Diversity
I bring Diversity.
Through my experiences, musical ability and as an educator, my life continues to shape who I am and how I teach.
I loved my first job; I was a goat herder on the family farm and was responsible for feeding and caring for a herd of 30 goats, getting my hands dirty much of the time.
I have been a chef, a security guard and a landscaper. I am able to bring all of my experiences to the classroom, enriching class discussions and areas of common interests.
My eclectic experiences continue to shape who I am and how I teach.
Relationship Building Staff
High level of collaboration Specialized equipment

Students Respect Trust
Relationship Building
I bring Relationship Building.
Whether interacting with staff, parents and students, our positive relationships foster an environment of caring and respect that makes the educational experience an enjoyable one.
As music teachers, we may have access to, and expertise with, specialized equipment, that other staff members could use. Fostering positive relationships with fellow staff will make them more likely and comfortable to ask for assistance or equipment, which may enrich their students’ experiences.
This effectively and professionally helps to create a more collaborative and engaging community. Everybody wins!
Student First Philosophy

Student First Philosophy
I bring a Student First philosophy,
Understanding student needs and providing the appropriate tasks and curricular connections to ensure that assessments maximize the potential of the student is paramount.
Throughout my life people continue to surprise me with what they are capable of accomplishing. Being a music teacher has given me the opportunity to push and encourage students to explore their potential, enriching their own educational experiences and hopefully creating enjoyment in learning which will ensure the students become life-long learners.
And now a little math:
