I am an expected graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and will have recently finished my student teaching internship. I am highly qualified to teach all subject areas to grades K-9 including Spanish. I feel that my experiences and background will be of value to you and your school.
I possess many qualities, which will make me a great addition to your school. I am a hard working, passionate, organized professional who is dedicated to her work and students. After completing my student teaching experience in a fifth grade classroom in Chicago Illinois, I was able to learn and grow from valuable experiences. I had the opportunity of working and communicating with the cooperating teacher and other experienced teachers collaboratively. From my experience, I gained knowledge in classroom management, lesson planning, and student and parent communication. Through DePaul University I have completed 125+ hours of field experience hours that have allowed me to interact with a diversity of students allowing me to create and cultivate student rapport. As a Golden Apple Scholar I have had the opportunity to participate in four summer internships that have equip me to be able to reach each student as they develop a love for learning. I believe I can inspire students to be come life long learners through my passion for seeing students excel.
A teachers job requires that the teacher constantly learn along their students side. Teaching extends further beyond the classroom and guides the direction of teaching to be able to cater to student needs. A teacher who is constantly learning will be able to reach all type of learners. After reviewing my resume, you will discover that I have had great experiences that have prepared me to become the educator I can be.
