I decided that I will use this photo (taken in the theatre) for my front cover. I like the way the image looks as though Claudia is actually on stage performing, with the props like the microphone and guitar to add believability. I used the lighting in the theatre for a spotlight which made it look like Claudia was on stage performing. This image is most successful as the rule of thirds has been used as shown by the red lines I have placed against the image.

These photographs were also successful as they use the rule of thirds. Although I will not be using these for my front cover I am thinking about incorporating them possibly for the contents page.

Un-successful

I think that these images are not as successful, as the angle I took them from is not very flattering. I was trying to get the majority of Claudia’s body in (in the photo on the left hand side) but I found that the image looked squashed in and made her look short. I also thought that they didn’t look as believable as my other photographs. These photographs would also need a lot of fixing on photoshop to look good enough for my magazine.
