The staff room is situated close to the main entrance on the right and sho

as your base.You are most welcome to use the facilities provided. The site is a non-smois no designated smoking room.

 At break or lunch time you should be able to obtain a hot drink from thpurchased from the canteen.The canteen has a cashless system so if you need to buy food or drinkknow and I will assist you.

 At KSSC we operate a system of detention and student isolation.There are 3 types of detentions that would be used by your teachers.1. Subject Detention - administered by the Class Teacher 10 minutes - without notice. A lminutes) accompanied by a detention notification to parents/carers. Awarded for failacceptable amount of work ,low level inappropriate behaviour in lessons which may interothers or which inhibits their right to enjoy being at school.2. Faculty Detention [Wednesdays] - administered by Heads of Faculty 1 hour duration detention notification to parents/carers. Awarded for displaying inappropriate behavioudoes not change after warnings or minor sanctions have been applied3. Achievement Team Detention - administered by Achievement Leader/Assist

Leader 30 minutes - during Break 1 or Break 2. Awarded for an accumulation of negativoffences outside the classroom.The Education Act 2011, removed the requirement of schools to give 24 hours’ notice beftake place. At KSSC we will inform your parents/carers in advance of such detentions. Howdetain you on the day of an incident occurring at school, then your parents/carers will benotice by telephone.
