Mrs. Vandana Ghavnalkar acquainted how to make ECGC’s services more useful to the exporters and thereby enhance India’s export trade. The session was very interactive and role of ECGC, Need of ECGC Policies and the benefits to the exporter, precautions to be taken while executing order; were discussed. Around 75 people from different industries like Aurangabad Electricals ( Bagla Group ) Endurance Group, Morganite , Lupin , had attended this program. Mr. Lalit Kasliwal from Bagla group were feliciated by NC Member Mr. P.P.Reddy Chairman Dr. Narendra Joshi briefed about the branch activities and focus areas of IIMM. He also appealed for becoming IIMM members to delegates, who are not IIMM members. He addressed about e-commerce, market size & growthetc. It was put on record that India has an internet userbase of about 354 million as of June of 2015. Despitebeing the second largest user base in world, only behindChina (650 million, 48% of population), the penetrationof e-commerce is low compared to markets like the USor France. It is growing at an unprecedented rate, addingaround 6 million new entrants every month. Demandfor international consumer products is growing muchfaster than in-country supply from authorizeddistributors and e-commerce offerings. Several Indiane-commerce companies have managed to achieve billion-dollar valuations, including Flipkart, Mobikwik, Quikr,Jabong, Shopclues and Paytm. He mentioned aboutonline market in India is expected to grow to $675 Bn by2016 & $850 Bn by 2020.

Speaker Dr. Shisam imparted immense knowledge on theE-Commerce. He put a light on Scope of E-Com, reasonsof E-Com growth, E-Com Delivery- Planning- EfficacyMechanism, E-Com accelerated growth, opportunity forE-Com, E-Com trust building strategies, E-Com businessmodels etc. The topics E-Com players, Analogy in E-Com& 3PLs, Market factors for E-Com startups were mainlyappreciated by participants. He explained numerousexample of different E-Com industries. Live interactionof participants with Dr. Bhattacharya was really appreci-ated by everyone who were present in the seminar hall.Participants interacted him in the depth of their doubts.

The Program concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. LalitAhuja, Hon General Secretary. He expressed his gratitudeto the eminent speaker Dr. Bhattacharya & delegatesfrom different industries of Jaipur. Report on Seminar cum Northern RegionalConference held on the 13th March 2016 at HotelRoyal Cafe

The program commenced immediately on arrival ofthe Chief Guest. By then all present had Registeredthemselves.

Shri K.P.Sharma Chairman of the Branch welcomedall dignatories to the Dias. After exchange ofpleasantries the dignatories occupied their seats onthe dias. Other Northern India Branch Chairmen werealso welcomed.

VIP’s on the dias were requested for Lighting of theLamp. Shri P.K.bajpai,NC assisted the dignatories inlighting the lamp. Simultaneously Saraswati Vandanawas chanted by the rep of Shant kunj Haridwar. ShriK.P.Sharma, Chairman of the Branch in his shortaddress welcomed every body and briefly touchedupon various aspects of the Topic. Shri M.K.Bhardwaj,Chairman, BoS enlightened us about the variousEducational activities undertaken by the Institute andrecently launched Skilled Development Program. ShriO.P.Longia, national President spoke about futureplans, Mission 100, 20% savings etc and explained itsnecessity. He also spoke on the topic of Make in India.Shri Rajeev Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, HindustanAeronautics Limited, Accessories Complex, Lucknowin his address stated that such occasions not only helpknowledge sharing but also help in boosting tiesbetween Industries and Educational Institutes.Duringhis speech the CEO intimated that 25 sectors havebeen identified which includes Aviation, Automobiles,Defense, Bio Technology, Chemicals,, Food Processing,FT, Pharmaceuticals, Renewable Energy, Port andShipping, space etc. Focus is on enhanced privateparticipation and the country is seeing enhanced FDIin many sectors including Defense. Start- ups andNSME’s are being given special attention.

Last Month Govt. organized “Make In India” week inMumbai and shown the Design, Innovation andsustainability in Indian Manufacturing sectors incoming decades and take Corporate and PublicParticipation to next level. Hal and many otherCorporates participated in this and the response wasvery enthusiastic. At national level Govt. needs tocreate appropriate Logistic Infrastructure in thecountry to cater specific and different kinds of needsof different sectors. Shipping and Ports, Rail and RoadConstruction, setting up of Industrial Corridors arealso in high priority areas of “Make In India” CEO whileconcluding wished progam a grand success and said

After the Tea break first technical session commencedwherein Dr. Pawan Kumar Agrawal, Mumbai dabbewalgave a lovely Power Point Presentation where in heexplained the daily routine, system followed, theirSalary Structure in most lively manner. Everybody wasamazed to see such presentation. How important it isto go with Systems was the gist of his presentation.After his presentation he gave answers to thequestions raised by delegates. Finally he presentedsome white caps which Dabbewals wear and smalltiffin careers to the VIPs and Question raisers.

Dr. Pawan Agrawal was honored by Shri P.K.Bajpai bygiving a “Make in India” memento. After first Technicalsession, Award ceremony was organized and NationalPresident was requested to do the honors. In theNATCOM 2015 held at Vadodara our branch receivedas many as 8 awards and these were collected by ShriBrajesh Singh our NC. Some of the awardees receivedthese awards consecutively for 2,3 years.

After awards Ceremony second Technical session com-menced. Dr. A.K.Saihjpal, who is our Vice PresidentNorth and recently superannuated Vice Chancellor ofBaddi University, in Himachal Pradesh. He has manylaurels to his credit and has wonderful ideas in hismind. He gave Power point Presentation. In his speechhe compared both Naredra’s means our belovedPrime Minister Narendra Modi and other Narendra(Swami Vivekanand). His presentation was with fullslides consisting of Statistical Data. His presentationwas appreciated by all. Shri laxminarayan our branchadvisor presented a memento to Dr.saihjpal. Afer theTechnical session Shri Saurabh Garg, AGM, TATA Mo-tors and our Vice Chairman conveyed the Vote ofThanks to all concerned and requested all present tojoin for Lunch. IT organizations. He was visiting faculty for M.S.Universityon subjects like ERP & Supply Chain Management, MIS& E-Business.

He was associated with Singapore based company LithanGenovate for building ERP Training Models for Singapore;Malaysia & Thailand government recognized Institutions.He was also involved in implementation of various SAPmodules in USA & Germany. During his tenure asChairman – Computer Society of India, Vadodara Chapterhe received Best Chairman award for Western Region.He is willing to use his Knowledge & Experience inInformation Technology with students & professionalson various IT related topics like NET NEUTRALITY, ERP-SAP through NGOs like IIMM.
