Wind HorseDa naho… It is said, Wind Horse, gentle Wind horse, you were the last of your kind. Wind Horse, Wind Horse, you were running wild
and free.Wind Horse, Wind Horse, with this freedom you did nothing but give; When one called for help you carried them to safety, No enemy did you have.Da naho… It is said, Wind Horse,
Wind Horse, you gave your life one day To a boy with no leg.Wind Horse, Wind Horse, you gave him your endless love.Wind Horse,
Wind Horse, you now run in the Great Hunting Grounds; Giving joy to those there, as you did here.Da naho… It is said, Wind Horse,
Wind Horse, your life was not the last gift You gave the People.Wind Horse, Wind Horse, you prayed for us, you wished a wish for us.
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, we remember you through your brother Horse. Wi: yo: h … It is good.Wind Horse, Wind Horse, we see you

WIND HORSE ANALYSIS
Wind Horse is a poem set in free verse that
repeats the theme of the horse being a major
symbol of freedom and hope. It repeats this
theme throughout the poem.
I chose this poem due to its relevance to my theme
but also the uniqueness of it.
A HORSES PRAYER (Author Unknown)
Feed me, water and care for me, and when the days work is done, provide me with shelter, a clean dry bed and a stall wide enough for me to lie down in comfort.
Always be kind to me. Talk to me. Your voice often means as much to me as the reins. Pet me sometimes, that I may serve you the more gladly and learn to love you.
Do not jerk the reins, and do not whip me when going uphill. Never strike, beat or kick me when I do not understand what you want, but give me a chance to understand you.
Watch me; and if I fail to do your bidding, see if something is wrong with my harness or feet.
I cannot tell you when I am thirsty so give me clean, cool water often. I cannot tell you in words when I am sick, so watch me, that by signs you may know my condition.
Give me all possible shelter from the hot sun, and put a blanket on me, not when I am working, but when standing in the cold. Never put a frosty bit in my mouth; first warm it by holding it a moment in your hands.
I try to carry you and your burdens without a murmur, and wait patiently for you long hours of the day or night. Without the power to choose my shoes or path, I sometimes fall on the hard pavements which I have often prayed might be of such a nature
as to give me a safe and sure footing.
Remember that I must be ready at any moment to lose my life in your service.
And finally, O Master, when my useful strength is gone, do not turn me out to starve or freeze, or sell me to some cruel owner to be slowly tortured or starved to death; but do thou, my Master, take my life in the kindest way. And your God will reward you
here and hereafter. You will not consider me irreverent if I ask this in the name of HIM, who was born in a stable.
Amen
A HORSES PRAYER ANALYSIS
A horses prayer is a poem set in free verse
personifying the emotions of a horse making it seem
human. The poem describes the needs of a horse and
makes it seem in need of the same things humans
need and shows a horse as though it understands.
I chose this poem due to the fact that this is
commonly quoted by friends of mine.
WHAT IS A HORSE What is a horse? A horse has eyes as dainty as a mink. The grace is interrupted merely by a blink. A horse is beauty. What is a horse? A horse is a tree in a storm that never goes down. A horse is a weathered rock that stays around. A horse is ancient. What is a horse? A horse waltzes like breeze over rivers. She curvets and leaps like rain shivers. A horse is a marionette. What is a horse? A horse is determination, that never stops flowing. A horse is fondness, that never stops growing. A horse is poetic power.
WHAT IS A HORSE ANALYSIS
Set in free verse this poem ask a reptetive question
several times and answers it with a comparison that
compares a horse to many things and uses those to
symbolize the many aspects of a horse.
I chose this poem because it reminded me of my horse
but could cover a variety of horses and was broad yet
made the reader feel like it was about one specific
animal.
THE HORSES OF THE SEA
Christina Rossetti
The horses of the sea
Rear a foaming crest,
But the horses of the land
Serve us the best.
The horses of the land
Munch corn and clover,
While the foaming sea-horses
Toss and turn over.
THE HORSE OF THE SEA ANALYSIS
The horses of the sea is a free verse poem
comparing the ocean to a horse. More
specifically it compares the waves to the rolling
cadence of a horse .
I chose this poem because of the simplicity and
elegance that it possessed.
HORSESHorses, they bring such joy, Horses, they’re like oversized toys.Horses, they make the world go
‘round, Horses, they make the best sounds.Horses, they hardly ever miss a beat, Horses, they’re always so sweet.Horses, they give us freedom in life, Horses, they show us beauty and strife.
Horses, they’re the closest thing to perfection, Horses, they’re full of action.Horses, they’ll be a girl’s best friend, Horses, they’ll be there til the end.
Lucky You
HORSES ANALYSIS
The rhyme scheme of this poem is aa bb cc dd ee
ff g. the poem repeats the phrase “horses’ on
every line of the poem to accent the theme of
horses.
This poem was chosen because of its simplicity
A HORSE
A horse is a horse and a man is a manAnd neither can
be the otherAnd each can survive but is much betterIn
the company of one another. And while a horse is a horse
and that is trueA horse is but a beastAs a cow is a cow,
some ask howOn its flesh we should not feast? For they
do so in France as in other placesAnd I don't know how
they canFor while a horse is a horse and is only a horseIt
is less a cow than it is a man!
A HORSE ANALYSIS
This poem is set in free verse and is in some ways
comedic but has a deeper meaning as it asks the
question should a horse be considered food.
I chose this poem since it was at first comedic but
then asks another question.
WHY GOD GAVE US HORSES ANALYSIS
This poem set in free verse has a warm
sentimental tone giving a deeper meaning to
horses.
This was chosen because it had a good balance.
This poem is about horse and rider
A WILD HORSE TRIBUTE ANALYSIS
This is a tribute to the grace and beauty of wild
horses.
MR. TRULY AMAZINGSixteen years old and in a world of her own
Confined to life lived in a wheelchair
Ever since birth, doctors don’t know what went wrong
But, it was like no one was at home in there
One summer vacation with the other kids in tow
The family visited a Kentucky horse stable
They left her alone in a sunny grass meadow
While off riding with the children who were able
While sitting alone in a catatonic state
Staring out somewhere in space
A gelding that was grazing, Mr. Truly Amazing
Came up and licked her on the face
The family returned to a shocking surprise
Seeing the wheelchair left unoccupied
They looked all around, then couldn’t believe their eyes
When they saw her standing with a horse by her side
She was petting his nose, feeding him an apple
And seemed to be whispering something
They were frozen in their tracks not believing the fact
That their Jenny was no longer a nothing
The mother walked up, in a delicate manner
Not wanting to interrupt this miracle’s course
When Jenny turned to her and in a shallow voice
Whispered, “Look, Mommy, I have a horse”
MR TRULY AMAZING ANALYSIS
This poem is about the bond of man and horse
and how it is truly amazing.
