COURSE OUTLINE Subject : Speaking 1 Faculty : English Education Study Program of STAIN Jurai Siwo Semester : I Quality : 2 SKS Lecturer : Aisyah Sunarwan, S.Pd.I I. Purpose of Study Through the Speaking 1 the students will be able to do the daily conversation and communicate with other students about the topic which is close to himself/herself. This subject is very important because if the students don’t pass this subject, they are not allowed to take Speaking 2. Speaking1 is mainly discussed on student’s skill and ability to speak, make a conversation and express his or her emotions. II. Requirement 1. You must participate and take part in teaching and learning process for at least 75 % 2. Please don’t wear sandals and T-shirt during lecturing, it means you will respect yourself and your friend 3. Please read any related literatures (Journals and books) before joining the class so that we can share any knowledge of Speaking . II. Learning Teaching Strategy The approach for learning and teaching process is eclectic method. It means the learning and teaching processes are based on the circumstances of the class and aim of lecturing. While the strategy used in this learning and teaching process is drill and reinforcement. IV.
