ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must:
• Hold a Level 3 qualification in the occupational area they want to assess in
• Have a good level of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, preferably English, Maths and ICT at GCSE grades A-C
• Be able to collect evidence of their assessment practice with a minimum of two students
• Have a qualified Assessor who can countersign their assessment decisions.
ASSESSMENT
You are required to collate a portfolio of evidence to include workplace observations, knowledge questions and work products.
WHY STUDY LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE IN ASSESSING VOCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT?
This course is for practitioners who assess student’s knowledge and the demonstration of competence in a work environment.
COURSE CONTENT
The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Assessment includes three units:
• Understanding the principles & practices of assessment
• Assessing occupational competence in the work environment
• Assessing vocational skills knowledge & understanding.
