Certificate IV in DisabilityA Certificate IV in Disability will provide you with the skills needed to promote a person-centered approach, work with or without direct supervision and potential to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.

Become a positive impact on the lives of people living with a disability by supporting their needs with a hands-on approach. We will provide you with the theory and practical skills to assist people in reaching their individual goals and develop independence through a person-centered approach.

You will learn how to support, meet and maintain personal care, activities related to individualised plans, contribute to skill development and maintenance.

Requirements Students must successfully complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LNN) assessment and suitability interviews to secure their enrolment.

A Child Related Employment Screening, is mandatory to undertake student placement.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) In some cases, prior learning and experience can be used as evidence of your current skills and knowledge. Information about how to apply can be sourced by contacting our office on (08) 8462 0222.

Studying externally This is a great choice if a class based structure doesn’t work for you. As a more independent method of training, you will have the flexibility to study when it suits you and your schedule.

Student support Our experienced Trainers and Learner Support Officer can provide individualised support via email, telephone, face-to-face appointments.

National recognition If you have received a Statement of Attainment issued by another Recognised Training Organisation (RTO), Enhance Training will recognise the AQF qualification in accordance with ASQA regulations.
