All India Institute Of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur welcomes you all to the “ SLEEP DENTISTRY

WORKSHOP 2018”.

Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is more than just “snoring” and an inconvenience to the

partner of a patient suffering from it. Snoring in these patients might just be an “AUDIO

ALARM” bringing the patient to you.

Beneath the snoring lies a poorly sleeping patient experiencing daytime fatigue &

sleepiness, poor quality of life, interpersonal issues, psychological problems and a

multitude of systemic health problems.

This workshop will help in better understanding the evidence based concepts of sleep

medicine, physiology of sleep, pathophysiology of OSA, polysomnography, Invasive and

non invasive interventions for treating OSA with demonstration of oral appliance

fabrication. There will be a live surgery followed by brainstorming sessions with the experts

to help you in better understanding of OSA.
