Formerly home to the distinguished family of Mr Denny, a keen gardener who was passionate

about the display of his grounds, this 38 acre private estate of manicured gardens is a gem

of the Buckinghamshire countryside.

At its heart lies the Manor House, a beautiful building of russet brickwork and decorative

windows, all set beneath a traditionally gabled roof. Dignified yet charming, this house and its

surrounding parklands make the perfect location for a wedding day with style and sophistication.

MANOR LOUNGE

Situated in the original Manor House, the Manor Lounge promises to lend a sense of grandeur to your drinks reception or ceremony. Its stately proportions, traditional décor and large windows radiate light and character, never failing to impress wedding groups of up to 90 guests. Meanwhile, the private bar offers an element of exclusivity, ensuring your day is special to you.

EYRE SUITE

If you’re looking for something a little more intimate, the Eyre Suite is ideal for smaller wedding parties of up to 100 guests. Located within our modern wing, it offers a bright and neutral space conveniently close to the main lounge bar, patio and gardens, so everything you need for your big day will be easily within reach.

COOK SUITE

The Cook Suite is a refreshing blank canvas, giving you the freedom to tailor its appearance to suit a theme that’s unique to you. It has a private bar and plenty of space for your party to enjoy the celebrations. And because it’s well situated with the leisure facilities and bedroom area nearby, you won’t have far to go at the end of the evening.

PYTHEAS GARDENS

A hidden oasis which sits within the estate’s private rural grounds, our charming pagoda is a memorable setting for an outdoor wedding. The lily pond creates a picturesque focal point, while the manicured lawns provide a stunning backdrop, both for your ceremony and for photographs.

OUTDOOR CEREMONIES

If you’re planning on holding an outdoor ceremony we ask you to choose one of our indoor rooms as a back-up venue. This is to make sure we have an alternative space that you’re happy with if the weather disappoints on the day. The final decision as to whether a ceremony can take place outside is always up to the registrar. However, this need only be made an hour or so beforehand.

CHINESE LANTERNS , F IREWORKS AND CONFETTI

Unfortunately, due to safety reasons, we can’t allow Chinese lanterns or fireworks on our grounds. Sparklers however are always welcome to add a bit of magic to your evening.

Guests are also welcome to throw natural petals or biodegradable confetti in any of our outside areas, but not inside.

TRUSTED SUPPLIERS

Our wedding team have built great relationships with professional and trustworthy bands, DJs, photographers and many more. You can use our ‘little white book’ of suppliers or you’re welcome to bring in your own.

ACCOMMODATION

If your guests would like to stay over with you, we can offer them bedrooms at a set rate. We’ll provide you with a unique booking code, which you can send out with your invitations. These bedrooms are subject to availability, so we advise your guests book as soon as they receive their invitations.

A USEFUL TIMING GUIDE TO HELP WITH YOUR PLANNING

FOUR MONTHS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING We’ll be in touch in plenty of time to arrange your menu and wine tasting, where you will have chance to try options from the menu and chat with our Chef.

T WO MONTHS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING Our Wedding Co-ordinators are available to answer all your questions and offer advice through the planning process. We will invite you for a planning meeting to confirm all the details, around four to six weeks before the big day, this will ensure you only need to relax and enjoy your day.

T WO WEEKS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING A fortnight prior to the big day you can agree any last minute changes including dietary requirements or table plan with your Wedding Co-ordinator.

THE DAY BEFORE YOUR WEDDING This is a great opportunity to meet your Event Manager for your wedding day. You’re also welcome to drop off anything that will need setting up ahead of time, which your Event Manager can help with.

THE BIG DAY To ensure everything goes to plan, you’ll have a dedicated Event Manager on hand at all times. Among other things, they’ll make announcements, organise your guests and be available just in case there’s anything you need on the day. Which means there’s nothing for you to do except relax and enjoy yourselves.

THE END OF THE NIGHTOnce your wedding day has drawn to a close, our team will store any belongings from the room overnight, for you to collect the following morning. Please provide a list of items to be saved; this may include copies of your menus, place cards and seating plan. They’ll be lovely memories to treasure of the wedding day.
