A nother vital part of the county s e t - u p is the engUM-enng d e p a rtm en t w hich m ust fight the fight of flood control and stream clearance. The obvious way. of course. i» by setting Jen ev Pharmaceutical Association in 'aa course and following it. It is not common sense to assume that the government i* going to improve properties that are in private hands. There is no precedent for such action. Indeed, it would lead to one of the major scandals of our time*.

When the Port o f New York Authority O r the State Highway Commission needs l a n d for improvement they obtain the power* of condemnation from the state legislature. Properties more valuable than

The association makes the startling statement that fiOO.OOO children each year swallow poi*onous substance*, most of them found in the home. In many casep the original container* hail been destroyed and the substances were kept in pop bottles, food jars and drinking glasses.

The receptacle* then were stored on the fl*#or. under the *inlu in dresser draws, on tckrvision sets and in handbags. The bathroom and its medicine cabinet proved the

iruetion of the beautiful highways along safest storage place: the kitchen thc^most t h e Palisades the State condemned o n e of dangeroii-.the finest estates in America.

Thus, there is no reason why a program c a l l i n g for condemnation of needed lands should he considered alien or unwanted.
