• by serving as the secretariat for nine standards committees with almost eighty projects.
• by serving on 40 other safety standards
committees as an ASSE representative

“Bridging the Gap”
• Practice Specialty members provide technical knowledge and skills to Region ROCs /PDCs.
•Assistant Region Vice Presidents for Practice Specialties (ARVP) act as liaisons facilitating interactions between respective chapters/sections and the Practice Specialties, Branches, Common Interest Groups and the Standards Development Committee
• CoPS Chapter Chairs are appointed by each chapter as a chapter resource, keeping the chapter up to date on
technical issues, standards development, practice specialty knowledge and CoPS news.
