Pursuant to Article II, Section 5 and 10 of the Rules and Regulations Implementing the Revised Guidelines Governing the CPEP for Registered Nurses by mandate of Board of Nursing Resolution No. 152, S. 1994 the following issuances are hereby made: Section 1. Validity of CCPEN Accredited Programs Validity of CCPEN Accredited Programs applied for by Accredited Providers and approved by CCPEN shall be valid for three (3) consecutive years subject to CCPEN Providership Accreditation Renewal. Failure to renew CCPEN Provider Accreditation ipso facto withdraws approval of all programs. Section 2. Dispositions on PNA Accredited Programs All PNA Accredited Programs before June 1, 1995 shall be valid for two (2) consecutive years from date of accreditation provided these programs are duly re-filled to CCPEN by sponsoring agencies together with their PNA Approval Form by January 1996. No dates will be charged by CCPEN for re-filling. Section 3. Validity of CCPEN Accredited Programs applied for by Accredited Providers and approved by CCPEN shall be valid for three (3) consecutive years subject to CCPEN Providership Accreditation Renewal.

Failure to renew CCPEN Provider Accreditation ipso facto withdraws approval of all programs.

Section 2. Dispositions on PNA Accredited Programs

All PNA Accredited Programs before June 1, 1995 shall be valid for two (2) consecutive years from date of accreditation provided these programs are duly re-filled to CCPEN by sponsoring agencies together with their PNA Approval Form by January 1996. No dates will be charged by CCPEN for re-filling.

Section 3. Report to be Submitted by Accredited Providers

Effective November 1995 all Accredited providers must report to CCPEN within 30 days from completion of any approved CPE Program, using the attached prescribed CCPEN Report Form (C. No. 6 PRCBON Res. No. 162, Series of 1994)

Section 4. Accreditation of I. V. CPE Programs

All Accredited Providers are hereby advised to file any or all applications for I. V. CPE Training Programs, Seminars-Updates, etc. to the ASSOCIATION OF NURSING SERVICE ADMINISTRATORS OF THE PHILIPPINES (ANSAP) c/o Lung Center of the Philippines, Nursing Service Department, West Avenue, Quezon City.

All CPE credits obtained from ANSAP Accredited I. V. Programs shall ipso facto be accepted by PRC-CPE.

Sec 5. New CPE Validation Fee

Effective January 1996, the fee for validation of CPE requirements for re-licensure to be charged by CCPEN shall be P 30.00.

Sec 6. For purposes of information to all nurses, the attached procedure for the renewal of license for

nursing shall apply.

These issuances shall be valid and effective until amended, repealed, or modified by the CCPEN. For widest dissemination.
