About the Freedom FundThe Freedom Fund is the world’s first private donor fund dedicated to ending modern slavery. With a team of experts and a global perspective, the Freedom Fund aims to raise $100 million by 2020 for smart investments to reduce slavery in the countries and sectors where it is most concentrated.

Membership composition and criteria

Membership in the Council of Advocates is by invitation only and is reserved for those who make a substantial contribution to the Freedom Fund and its mission. In addition, members will:

- Lend knowledge in an area of expertise and add creative energy to the organization.

- Leverage their personal network to identify others who may be able to provide support in various ways.

- Host or significantly contribute to at least one networking or fundraising event per year.

- Make a minimum two year commitment of $100,000 per year to the Freedom Fund.

Why we can make a difference by 2020
