With Grade B Listing, Gamrie Lodge is a fine example of a four storey, Regency Buchan, former Manse dating circa.1828.
Currently undergoing restoration by the present owners, the Lodge, with its
distinctive projecting semi‐circular stair tower, is set peacefully amidst lightly wooded grounds with separate walled garden, yet commands uninterrupted views of the
surrounding countryside of Aberdeenshire Scotland.
Built around a private gravelled courtyard within the grounds of Gamrie Lodge, the former stables and coach house have been fully renovated to provide luxury self‐catering
accommodation which is available throughout the year.
In time and within the former maid quarters of Gamrie Lodge we aim to provide a contemporary boutique B&B which will offer exclusive, stylish and glamorous accommodation.
This region of Scotland is blessed with outstanding scenery with the majestic
Grampian Mountains dominating the skyline to the West whilst miles of unspoiled and often dramatic coastline frame the area in the East.
Come and visit the beautiful Moray Coast of Scotland and enjoy the friendly hospitality of local
towns and villages like Banff, Crovie, Gardenstown, Portsoy and Pennan.
A very warm welcome awaits you at Gamrie Lodge.

"Thank you very much for the use of your lovely cottage. We have had holidays all over, but this has been the best yet. It was like a home from home. Your kindness has been wonderful. I do hope we will be able to return soon and wish you all the very best in renovating." Steven & Caroline Haggerty, Comrie, Fife.
"A note of very great thanks and appreciation for providing us with such splendid accommodation last week. Everything was as near as perfect as you can get and all in such a beautiful setting. We spent some while on the way back discussing on how it could be better and fundamentally it was the best accommodation we have had
and that is said as fairly experienced travellers. Janet in desperation came up with the idea of a hair drier but only because she could not think of anything else." Roger & Janet Toon, Church Stretton, Shropshire.
"We all have had a wonderful stay. We will be returning to stay in the near future. The cleaning job was a pleasure for the warm welcome you gave us. It just feels rather strange to know that someone else is in the cottage as it felt like our own." Ian & Diane Marshall, Newcastle‐upon‐Tyne.
"A very big thanks for providing us with excellent accommodation on our annual visit home to Scotland. Perfect setting for having time out with our mum and dad. An evening's highlight was the use of the BBQ facilities for cooking the local fresh fish, which was fantastic. Cheers and hope you can fit us in next year."
Paul & Linda Satti, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
"Thank you very much for the opportunity to holiday at "The Swallows" during the school break in October. The location is perfect and is very private and peaceful. The cottage is spacious and decorated and furnished to a very high standard (Laurence Llewellyn‐Bowen doesn't have a look in!!!). You have created the most stun‐ning holiday accommodation and hope you don't mind that we have taken away some of your design ideas. All the very best, we shall return!!. Fantastic!!." The Strangs, East Lothian.
"Just got home after spending a week in "The Owl". The only reason we decided to visit Scotland was that my brother‐in‐law married a Scottish lass and we felt duty‐bound to visit. To be honest, I wasn't initially keen on "wasting" my prized annual leave on somewhere so cold and barren.
It just goes to show what ignorance can do. My wife, two young children and I, have just had a magical time! We saw some beautiful countryside, met warm, wonderful people, ate huge helpings of delicious food, felt the history and drank the whisky! But the thing that topped it all off for me was the quality of the accommodation. Eve‐
rything was catered for and we felt really at home immediately. Absolutely first class...so much so we actually feel as if we've cheated a bit for paying so little!
If you're wondering about a holiday in Scotland and want to get away from the touristy haggis‐and‐shortbread bits, come here. It's wonderful..."
