I NTRODUC TIONCotrugli Business School aspires to provide leaders with an exceptional learning experience which effectively translates cutting edge methodology and research into ideas and action.

We proudly offer a specially designed program for top-exe-cutives who pursue this initiative - The Chief Executive MBA program (CEMBA).

The CEMBA is an opportunity for senior executives to recharge their batteries and enhance their leadership skills. Focusing on impact, CEMBA challenges business leaders both person-ally and professionally. Through interaction with international and diverse peers, as well as with senior Faculty, it expands their business repertoire to include new concepts, paradigms and practices.

Senior faculty assist participants in developing a personally designed curriculum, which includes selected modules from Cotrugli, and make it possible to complete the degree with min-imum interruption to work and personal life. Participants could spread out their program over two or three years. Project work, an integral part of the CEMBA, is individually defined and fo-cuses on the key business issues of participants’ organizations.

Jyoti Gupta, PhD Dean

Jyoti Gupta is professor of Finance and he has taught regularly

at the best international universities, including ESCP Europe,

CEIBS (China European Business School), Indian Institutes

of Management and was appointed the Dean of the School

of Management at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok.

He has been the Editor of the Euro-Asia Journal of Management

and he is involved in consulting activities with various companies

and has also worked as a consultant to the World Bank and the

European Commission.

The program’s structure is compatible with full-time employment. The contact hours are distributed as follows:

• EXECUTIVE COACHING / BUSINESS ADVISORY SERVICES DURING THE PROGRAM

• INDIVIDUAL PROJECT

Prior to the program, participants will assess their current trajectory and business priorities, as well as their management styles. Subsequent classroom and group work will be devoted to assessing the breakthrough potential of these priorities and developing approaches to make the breakthrough happen. Two dimensions are emphasized: strategic improvement and leadership improvements. These come together in each participant’s personal agenda and action plan.

The individual project is an important learning vehicle in the CEMBA program and can be offered as a significant and real ‘pay back’ to participants organization. This gives participants the opportunity to work individually on a project, to analyze and resolve complex business problems using the business skills, frame-works, and tools acquired in the program.
