ABoUT DoLBY® HEADPHoNE

Dolby Headphone gives you a richer and more natural listening experience by creating the sensation of listening to audio on speakers placed in a room. By reducing the perception that sounds are coming from “inside your head,” you can listen longer without the fatigue that can be a problem with ordinary headsets. • Music and other stereo audio sources sound more natural. You can also combine Dolby Headphone with Dolby Pro Logic IIx (covered below) to expand stereo and 5.1 audio into a 7.1 surround sound experience. • Games and movies with true multi-channel audio sound better, and you can get a competitive advantage in multi-channel games by detecting the locations of sounds better than you can with ordinary stereo headsets. Dolby Headphone uses HRTF (head-related transfer function) psychoacoustics to reproduce multi-channel audio, so sounds appear to come in front and behind you as the audio engineer intended.

ABoUT DoLBY® Pro LoGIc IIx

Dolby Pro Logic IIx allows you to enjoy a 7.1 channel surround experience when listening to stereo and 5.1 surround content, and select listening modes to tailor the sound to your liking.

You may enable both features using the HS1 control panel software covered in the previous section. To ensure that you are getting the best audio experience, make sure that the audio configuration menu within movie playback software and games is set to “5.1 speakers,” “7.1 speakers,” or similar. Choosing “headphones” from within games and applications may cause the audio to be downmixed to stereo, since most headphones are only capable of stereo output and the game or application may assume that the HS1 is not capable of reproducing multi-channel audio.

GETTING THE moST oUT of YoUr NEW HS1 HEADSET

• If you connect the headset to your PC’s USB port after a game or application has been launched, you may need to quit the application and restart before it will recognize that a headset has been connected. • To ensure that you are enjoying full multi-channel audio, take the following steps to ensure that Windows and your game or application recognize the HS1 as a multi- channel headset: a) Windows 7, Windows Vista: use the HS1 software (described in the previous section) to select 5.1 channel or 7.1 channel output. b) Windows XP: engage Dolby Headphone using the HS1 software. • Before making a call or joining a multi-player game for the first time, check your microphone’s volume with the Mixer controls in the HS1 software. You can mute the microphone using the inline controller – if the lights are red, the microphone is muted, and if they are blie, the microphone is active. • The HS1 has been carefully designed to reproduce great-sounding audio no matter what the source. However, don’t be afraid to experiment with the environment and equalization settings in the control panel. Start with flatter equalization settings for the most accurate surround experience.

A ProPoS DE DoLBY® Pro LoGIc IIx

DoLBY® Pro LoGIc IIx

This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“You”), and Corsair Memory. You are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this agreement, as defined below, by using the corsair H50 High Performance cPU cooler (“Product”). If you have any questions or concerns about the terms of this agreement, please contact us at http://www.corsair.com/company/contacts.aspx. If, prior to using the Product, you decide you are unwilling to agree to the terms of this agreement, promptly return the Product and the accompanying items (including written materials and binders or other containers) to corsair memory or the corsair memory authorized distributor from whom you obtained the Product and accompanying items. If you have already paid for the Product, provide us with your proof of purchase and we will refund the fees you have paid for these items to you. Limited Warranty and Limitation of LiabilityThe Product is guaranteed for twenty four (24) months from the date of delivery to the end-user against defects in materials or workmanship. During this period, the Product will be repaired or have parts replaced, at our discretion, provided that: (I) the Product is returned to the agent from whom it was purchased with shipping prepaid; (II) the Product has been purchased by the end-user and not used for hire purposes; (III) the Product has not been misused, handled carelessly, or other than in accordance with any instructions provided with respect to its use; (IV) the Product has not been damaged due to acts of nature, such aslighting, fire, flood, or earthquake; (V) the warranty stickers have not been removed or tampered with. Corsair Memory’s warranty on the Product is to the first end user or consumer only, in accordance with the Corsair Memory’s Limited Warranty. All warranties express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall be limited to the duration of the guarantee above. The repair, replacement, or refund as provided under this express limited warranty is the exclusive remedy of the consumer, and is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. In no event shall corsair memory be liable, whether in contract or tort (including negligence) for damages in excess of the purchase price of the product, or accessory, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages of any kind, or loss of revenue or profits, loss of business, loss of information or data, software or applications or other financial loss arising out of or in connection with the ability or inability to use the products or accessories to the full extent these damages may be disclaimed by law.

corsair memory’s total liability, whether for breach of contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), indemnification or otherwise, is limited to the price of the Product sold under these terms with respect to which losses or damages are claimed. In no event will corsair memory be liable for any loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, lost profits or savings or other indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages to the full extent that may be disclaimed by law. The limitations, exclusions and disclaimers in these terms shall survive a fundamental breach or breach or the failure of the essential purpose of these terms or of any remedy contained herein. No action will be brought for any breach of these terms more than one year after the accrual of such cause of action. for the purpose of this paragraph, “corsair memory” includes its affiliates and its and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents, each of whom shall be considered as a trust beneficiary.
