EXT.FLASHBACK- THE TRAIN CRASH. EVERYTHING HAS A SOFT AND/OR
SLIGHTLY BLURRY FILTER TO IT. ALL IN THE POV OF TRISTA.
MARIE AND TRISTA ARE WALKING ALONG THE STREET.
SIDE SHOT OF MARIE
MARIE:
I’m thinking of getting a tattoo
TRISTA:
(off screen)
How? You’re such a wimp! You get
scared just crossing the train
tracks, even though the cross-gates
are up!
MARIE:
I’m just sensible! I am NOT a wimp!
TRISTA:
Prove it then! Stand on the tracks!
MARIE:
I don’t a have a death wish!
TRISTA:
When the gates are UP, you idiot!
MARIE:
(rolls eyes)
FINE! The things I’ll got to to
impress you!
TRISTA:
Aww, you know I love you really!
CUTS TO POV MID/LONG SHOT OF MARIE STANDING ON TRAIN
CROSSING
MARIE:
Here I am: standing her like an
idiot, for YOU!
TRISTA:
Yeah but you’re MY idiot, Marie!
MARIE:
I sure am!
(Throws arms out wide)
Cause I love you, Trista Smith!
Even if you can be a bitch
sometimes-
2.
SCREEN TURNS BLURRY AND SHAKY, AS THE SOUND OF SCREECHING
AND SCREAMING STARTS OFF QUITE; THE SHOT STARTS TO FADE TO
BLACK AS THE SCREECHING GETS LOUDER. THE SCREEN IS NOW
COMPLETELY BLACK; SUDDENLY MARIE APPEARS IN A CLOSEUP
COVERED IN BLOOD. THE SCREECHING AND SCREAMING IS STILL
GOING.
MARIE:
It’s your fault, why didn’t you
save me, Trista?
INT. TRISTA’S BEDROOM. TRISTA IS HAVING A NIGHTMARE IN BED.
