Kolkata Branch is looking afterEastern and North-Eastern regions of the country.

OBJECTIVES

The theme “Re-Invention and Re-Engineering of Government Libraries : Trends,Issues and Challenges" aims to discuss burning issues about professional andtechnical aspects of Library Professionals, working in Central Government sectorand formulate some recommendations to be placed before the Government of Indiafor the betterment of Library Profession in India. The Conference will be a platformfor mutual sharing of knowledge and ideas among the Librarians, Policy Makers,Library Stakeholders, Students, Teachers and others.

SUB-THEME

The list is indicative and not exhaustive in coverage. The contributors can send their papers on any of the sub themesgiven besides any topic of their interest relevant to the themes and sub-themes. Original papers on the areas of interestare invited.

The International Conference aims to discuss on the issues that are grappling the present times. Last year,the world was going through a critical situation due to COVID-19. During this year, as the vaccine has beenadministered to a sizeable population, and life is slowly coming back to normalcy but COVID -19 is far frombeing over. Due to impact of COVID–19, the library services have been severely hit and it is time to Re-engineer and Re-invent Central Government Libraries by overcoming the challenges. This Conference willbe a platform to exchange knowledge and ideas among the Librarians, Policy Makers, Library Stakeholders,Students, Teachers and others. The Virtual Conference is not limited to Librarians and Library ScienceProfessionals but IT professionals can also put forward their research and suggestions for the betterment ofCentral Government Libraries.

THEME

The Papers should be based on Research Surveys, Case Studies orAction plan between 2500-3000 words in length including tables,diagrams etc. Text should be printed in Times New Roman with fontsize 12, typed in 1.5 spaces. The text should be typed in A4 paper withstandard margins (2.5 cm in all four sides).

Also, each paper should contain an Abstract, up to maximum tenKeywords, Body of the Paper, Conclusion and References.The papershould also contain the Author(s) Name, Title, Organization Addressand E-mail address. All references should be presented according tothe APA Style only.

All papers shall be subjected to blind peer review by a technicalcommittee. Based on the paper evaluation report, paper shall beaccepted for publication in the Conference Proceeding with the ISBNand Best written and Best presented paper will be awarded during theconference in each categories.Templates of Abstract, Full Paper and Copyright Declaration Form canbe accessed at http://cgla.org.in/inter_conference.html.

How to Submit PaperOriginal Papers on the sub themes or related themes are invited fromStudents, Researchers, Academicians, LIS Professional Managers andinterested IT Professionals.The participants are requested to submit anelectronic copy of the full-length paper in English [email protected] on or before 31st December, 2021.
