CORPORATE PLAYS
We make ‘dramatic’ efforts to
• Connect people
• Enhance relationships
• Increase team communication
• Ultimately create inspired company cultures
Through the Power of Play!
This ‘dramatic’ effort
can be made either –
• By engaging a professional theatre group or
• With the participation of your company employees
We can execute both !
Participation of your company employees in
enacting a play-
• Accentuates his power to express
• Fosters team understanding and unity
• Enables him to handle conflict resolution
& logistics
Such is the Power of a Play!
Engaging a professional theatre group
• Enact a play based on the theme as suggested by
the management
• This theme will highlight the features which the
management wishes to convey to its employees
• An ideal ‘Annual Day’ activity
A Concept that has won
high applause !
Some of Our Productions so far
An adaptation of
Badal Sircar’s “Pagla Ghoda”
“Don’t stop …Pagla Ghora”
•The original play is in the
graveyard outside a village. Four
men from different strata of the
society have come together to do
the last rites of a dead, orphan,
young woman.
•In our scenario, 3 friends
(symbolically dressed as 3
jokers) from different companies
meet at one place, after
receiving termination letter from
their respective companies.
•They tease each other, crack crude jokes, and
gossip about their previous companies.
•But as the night wears on, things start to
change.
•The joker’s facades begin to crack.
•They realize their loss. Anguish and regret
overwhelm them.
•They analyze where they went wrong.
•In the end, all of them cannot avoid facing a
perennial question, why and why does a man
tread warily, hold back, shield himself, put a
‘Joker’s mask?
•Why doesn’t he let his mind let loose like a
wild horse?
An adaptation of
Shakespeare’s “Othello”
• In Shakespeare's play “Othello” Roderigo had
bribed Eaago to spy on Othello
•Roderigo wished to take Othello's girlfriend,
Desdemona as his own.
•Today’s Roderigo,
employee of a multi-national,
bribes Eaago, secretary of
the department to spy on the
strongest contender of the
‘Best Employee’ award.
•Roderigo wishes to take the
successful strategies of this
employee to get the award
himself.
•The plot develops amidst
dedication, commitment,
betrayal …eventually both the
employees losing the award.
•Othello had lost faith on his
most dear project.
•It’s human nature to doubt and
destroy.
•Trust in ones abilities can
never go wrong.
“Inspector Pandey Phir Mar Gaya”
Struggle of an individual in the corporate worldHis principles … at stake
His self-respect … at stakeHis capabilities … questioned !
However his Determination & DedicationMakes him a winner
“Andha Yug”
A profound meditation on the
politics of violence and aggressive
selfhood.
The moral burden of the play is that every act of violence inevitably debases society as a whole. The essential
tension between the nightmare of self-enchantment, which the story of the Kauravas represents, and the ever-
present possibility of finding a way out of the cycle of revenge into a redemptive ethicality
