What can we do in the UK?

Many sponsored events that take place throughout the UK allow you to raise money for a charity of your choice. If there is an event taking place where you live that you would like to take part in to support Waverley Care why not check with the organisers if it is possible.

Alternavely we have a number of events in which we buy charity places for our supporters:

10,000 Freefall Parachute Jump(Deposit £70, Minimum Sponsorship £395)

With jump sites all over the UK you can experience 120mph freefall anyme. Pre-book a date that suits you.

Edinburgh Marathon Fesval(Deposit £0, Minimum Sponsorship £120 - £290)

Take part in one of the Edinburgh Marathon Fesval races. Go it alone in the Half or full Marathon or get a team together and enter the Hairy Haggis Relay.

Forth Rail Bridge Abseil (Deposit £20 Minimum, Sponsorship £125)

The abseil is held twice a year, usually in May and September. No experience is necessary and all safety equipment and training is provided on the day. PParcipants abseil SAS-style from the iconic bridge 165 down to the beach in South Queensferry.

London to Brighton Cycle(Deposit £30, Minimum Sponsorship £100)

Start the challenge in South London, travel through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead, Haywards Heath & finally to Brighton having completed 54 miles!

Peru Trek(Deposit £349, Minimum Sponsorship £3400)

TTaking lesser know routes and discovering a side to Peru not oen seen by tourists means this trek will fulfil all of your expectaons and ambions for a South American journey and adventure. It's also your chance to visit Machu Picchu.

Sahara Trek(Deposit £299, Minimum Sponsorship £2200)

Discover the hidden beauty of one of the world's largest deserts. Climb 100 metre sand dunes, watch the sun rise over this vast landscape and be mesmerised by the star filled sky at night.

London to Paris Cycle(Deposit £99, Minimum Sponsorship £1350)

Cycle your way from the UK's capital through the rolling English countryside before hopping across the channel to rural France and the delights of Paris.

Kilimanjaro Trek(Deposit £449, Minimum Sponsorship £3950)

The tallest standalone peak on the African connent is the se ng for this tesng charity challenge. Experience jungle, dramac sunrises & life at 5,500.
