Committed to a brighter worldDiligence can accomplish wonders!
For over three decades, we never sidetracked from this belief.
And have leapfrogged from being just a construction player
to a Billion dollar multinational infrastructure conglomerate.
Passion drives commitment and commitment scripts success -
best describes the phenomenal change architected
by the visionary entrepreneur, our Founder Chairman,
Padma Shri awardee Dr. AVS Raju. His dedication inspires
our workforce to walk the extra mile to make the world
a better place to live in.
Our resolve to crafting a brighter world has not remained
just an inspiring vision. It is a tangible achievement that has
made a positive difference to millions of people. As we cross
time and border frontiers and add many divisions to our
ever expanding family, we remain a business house
the world can rely on.
Our New LogoInspired by the idea of progress and positive impact, our logo is a vivid, energetic
and memorable mark. It is a confident symbol of our progress and that of our
stakeholders. The logo with its rich colours cues corporate scale and vibrancy.
It has been handcrafted for us, to reflect the unique way in which we collaborate
with our stakeholders, to shape progress and outcomes, by bringing together
many elements – teams, resources, businesses, services, skills and
stakeholder interest – in a perfectly united and unified way.
Our New NameWe started our journey with the name Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited.
With this beginning, we have progressed and have created significant value
for all our stakeholders. In every company’s history, there comes a time
when the need arises, to future-proof the identity of the brand to serve
unfolding business opportunities.
Today we are not just a construction company. We are a company that contributes
to India’s progress through landmark infrastructure projects which demonstrate
far-reaching impact - beyond the realm of construction. We have evolved as a
leading mother brand with BOT, Realty and International businesses. The need to
change our name was therefore, compelling, to build a better link between the
parent company and the group companies. NCC Limited is our chosen new identity,
which encompasses all that we do today and aspire to do in the future.
Our Group Companies
Looking back over the last 3 decades, I am glad for the steps
we took to create a top-notch Infrastructure Company.
NCC has not only succeeded in completing projects on time
but in an effective manner, and has earned respect for its
brand among customers, financial institutions, associates
and shareholders.
The volatile nature of economies in general, poses a key
challenge for companies in dealing with the uncertainties.
However, I am confident that our core values will provide
us with adequate strength to face them. And that’s precisely
why I believe that NCC is poised for a bigger role in the
infrastructure development of the Nation.
Our journey till date has been very challenging. Thanks to our
dedicated management team and skilled workforce, we have
succeeded in keeping all our promises. NCC’s three decades of
endeavour and commitment has seen it foray into new divisions
and cross the Billion dollar mark in Turnover and 4 Billion dollar
mark in the Order Book. Also, NCC has established a strong
foothold in Oman, UAE, other GCC countries and Africa.
Going ahead, we will continue our journey towards the larger
vision of building a brighter world. I firmly believe and wish
the Company uninterrupted success while continuing to
maintain its core values.
I will end with Vince Lombardi’s quote: “Individual commitment
to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company
work, a society work, a civilisation work.”
Dr. AVS Raju
Founder Chairman
Founder Chairman’s Message
Dr. AVS Raju’s ascendancy to the pedestal of one of India’s
most respected infrastructure personages is a saga of tenacity
of the human spirit. Having set out from a small village in the
heart of Andhra Pradesh, India, more than five decades ago,
he left no stone unturned in scaling peak after peak of
entrepreneurship. From an agriculturist, he moulded himself
into a contractor, a builder, an infrastructure developer,
an industrialist, an aquaculturist...and triumphed in every role.
In less than three decades of founding the company,
he spearheaded NCC Limited towards the highest echelons
of achievement.
For this simple man who believes in common sense,
perseverance and the value of time, enhancing the quality
of life continues to be the raison d’etre.
A fact that has been recognised and celebrated with the
Lifetime Achievement Awards he has been honoured by
the Builders Association of India, Hyderabad Management
Association and All India Manufacturers’ Organisation.
His commitment to excellence has been acknowledged by
the Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh,
which conferred on him, an ‘honorary doctorate’ for his
outstanding contribution to the construction industry.
A poet par excellence, he has a place in the Guinness & Limca
Books of Records for penning the largest number of verses
on one topic...and his literary pursuit continues unabated.
He is a patron of arts and supports numerous organisations
and artistes as an advisor and a philanthropist.
That he has been honoured by the Indian Government with
Padma Shri, one of its highest civilian awards, speaks volumes
for Dr. Alluri Venkata Sathyanarayana Raju’s intellectual breadth
and illustrious achievements.

Buildings & Housing
Buildings and Housing infrastructure is a major input to
economic development and sustained growth of an economy.
A nation on the road to development requires to be fuelled
appropriately by civil and industrial infrastructure, with
products and services. This sector in India has assumed
growing importance with the liberalisation of the economy.
The rapid growth of the Indian economy has had a significant
impact on the demand for commercial property
to meet the needs of business, by way of offices, warehouses,
shopping malls, hotels etc. Growth in commercial office space
requirement is led by the growing Outsourcing and Information
Technology industry.
NCC has been providing world-class infrastructure support to
India’s growing Industrial, Retail, ITeS and Services sector.
The housing shortage in the Country opens up a huge window
of opportunity for the division.

Roads
In today’s age, speed is the norm. Mobility is no exception.
Be it to move people or goods, a strong transportation network
– roads, highways, bridges, flyovers etc. – paves the way for
better connectivity.
In India, it is estimated that the private sector will contribute
44% of the total projected spend of US$ 100 billion on roads
and highways over the Twelfth Five Year Plan period (2012- 17).
Further, the National Highway Development Programme (NHDP)
and upgradation of 3,700 kms. of National Highways by way of
double/four/six/eight-laning will spur more activity in this
space.
With a track record of executing large scale contracts within

Power
Power brightens lives, promotes industrial growth and is vital
for economic progress. India ranks sixth, globally, in terms of
power generation. Over the last three decades, the demand for
power in India increased at 3.6% per annum. The total demand
for electricity is expected to be over 950,000 MW by Year 2030.
Being a key constituent of infrastructure, performance
of the power sector directly impacts the overall economy
of a country. NCC’s Power division has been set up with the
express purpose of harnessing the business opportunities
in the EPC segment in the coming years. We have forged
vital technical partnerships in material handling projects.

sector players and foreign players.
Foreseeing a mine of opportunity, we have set up an exclusive
Oil & Gas Division to cater to the infrastructure needs of the
existing and upcoming players in the Oil Refinery sector.
Joint Ventures and business partnerships are being pursued
in all earnestness to establish a strong and meaningful presence
across the Nation.

Creating world-class infrastructure is the key to building a resurgent India. The high level of
economic growth that India has witnessed in recent years has resulted in industry expansion,
increased commerce and per capita income - all of which have fuelled the demand for
infrastructure services. The Governments, both Central and State, are doing all that it takes
to foster rapid infrastructure development via Public Private Partnerships (PPPs).

With increasing government initiatives for expanding
developmental facilities, the Construction sector in India
is witnessing heightened activity. Also, the economic
upsurge has generated increased demand in the Real Estate
sector (both residential and commercial). With a 7% to 8%
annual growth rate, the industry is moving ahead at
a steady pace.
The 12th Five Year Plan (2012-17) holds the potential to
transform Indian infrastructure. With an investment influx
of over $ 1 trillion, we foresee opening up of more avenues
for private sector participation.
NCC has moved across domains in the engineering and
construction space and has built a strong reputation for quality
with timely completion. With time, the Group has acquired
expertise of global standards, enabling us to tap emerging
infrastructure opportunities both in India and abroad.
NCC will pursue BOT and BOOT projects – Roads and Power
being the focus areas – with renewed dedication. To tap the
increased real estate activity following such infrastructure
growth, we are geared to provide world-class residential and
commercial space solutions. NCC International currently focuses
on Roads, Water and Building projects in the Middle East.
Going ahead, we not only plan to widen our services portfolio
in the Middle East market, but also spread to other
international markets in keeping with our strategic vision.
NCC will continuously invest in innovations that will pave
the way for a better world.
Committed to a vibrant future
