Question:
What is the estimated budget for the bid?
The District’s previous annual expenditures for this type of service have been approximately one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00). The District’s budget is based upon previous years’ expenditures.
Please provide more details on Information for Bidders, Section 23, Required Certifications with Bid From, Section (f), Storm Water Pollution Prevention Certification, identified as Attachment No. 6 to Bid Form.
The Storm Water Pollution Prevention Certification is not a certificate contractors obtain from the Water Board. The purpose of the Attachment No. 6 is the contractor performing work for the District is confirming, or “certifying,” that the contractor is aware of all legal requirements the contractor must abide by should any waste or debris be discharged into receiving waters of the United States as a result of their work. Please review the enclosed Attachment No. 6 to Bid Form for further clarification and details on the requirements.
Is there a count of Water Flow switches and Tamper Valves for each school? Or, per Bid Form Attachment A, does the number for risers correspond to the number of Water Flow switches and Tamper Valves?
There are Water Flows on all non-domestic lines.
Do any of the locations require a lift or ladder over eight (8) feet in order to complete the inspection?

3/17 STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION CERTIFICATION CORONA-NORCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
ATTACHMENT NO. 6 TO BID FORM
STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION CERTIFICATION
The Project is subject to storm water pollution prevention requirements. Such requirements include the preparation and implementation of a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (“SWPPP”) and/or implementation of local storm water requirements, which prohibit the discharge of pollutants from the construction site into the receiving waters of the United States (collectively herein, the “Storm Water Requirements”). I hereby certify that I have reviewed and fully acquainted myself with the Project’s SWPPP and other Storm Water Requirements as applicable to my scope of work and hereby agree to abide by and implement the terms of the SWPPP and other Storm Water Requirements.
I understand that if DISTRICT is found to have violated a provision of the Storm Water Requirements, it may incur high fines and/or penalties. I understand and agree that if DISTRICT incurs any fines, penalties, or other monetary damages as a result of my non-compliance with the Storm Water Requirements, such amounts, including legal and associated costs, will be deducted from the payments due under my Agreement for the Project.
I certify under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct.
