Rochelle Bilow

Rochelle Bilow is a food writer and columnist for the Syracuse Post-Standard and is a classically trained chef re-ceiving a grand diplome from the French Culinary Institute in New York City. Rochelle has worked as a catering chef in the famed Time Warner Center, and a cook in the New York Times and Michelin-starred restaurant Aldea, owned by Top Chef Masters competitor George Mendes. She has cooked for the likes of Harold Dieterle, the winner of Top Chef’s Season One and Jeffrey Steingarten, Iron Chef’s most charming judge.

It was nearly 40 years ago that Jack Beckwith introduced his band “Anticipation” to the Central NY party scene. “Anticipation” had a success-ful 13 year run of wedding reception, private parties, club venues and corporate dinner dances. Music took a back seat until recently when Beckwith decided the time had come to pursue his love of musical entertain-ing. Guitarist Frank Tyrrell has played and sung with the best in country music, and drummer Mike Solowy never misses an opportunity to make mu-sic with his set, on the congos, or with various other percussion instruments. Beckwith’s wife Faye fills in with vocals & keyboards to round out the group.
