– The big barn at Nettle Meadow Farm looks much as it musthave when it was built in 1910, with gleaming red siding and crispwhite trim capped by a shiny metal gambrel roof. In days of yore,the floor of the hay loft may have been the site of such socialevents as corn huskings or square dances under the vaulted roof,but the Nettle Meadow Cheese & Spirits Pairing this June 20th,hosted by current owners Sheila Flanagan and Lorraine Lambi-ase, will offer a bit more sophistication, offering guests an assort-ment of regional wines, ciders, beers and ales, each paired withdelicacies prepared from the farmʼs award-winning and nation-ally-touted cheeses, all set against a backdrop of the acousticalguitar melodies of Ellen Kenney.
