- Objective The KEB Smart Card is a Credit Card Application Service that was newly launched by KEB Bank. After logging into their accounts with an ID/PW or Public Key Certificate, users can access almost all of the Services in the Smart Card Application provided by the KEB Website. - Implementation Intentions The latest Security Modules, such as Vaccine Security, Forgery Prevention and a Virtual Keyboard were used in developing this Application. All Transaction Information is encrypted, enabling users to quickly and safely use their Credit Card via their Telecomm Carrier’s Communications (3G) and Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) Networks. Customers who are not registered to the KEB Website may use the Service after registering with the KEB Smart Card App. A Metro UI Design was utilized on the Main Screen to allow Users to quickly access the most frequently-used Menus across a two-page layout. Users are also able to customize the Apps’ UI by using the Bookmark Function. The UI Design is unified and tailored to both Smartphone and Tablet Platforms in order to provide a more integrated experience regardless of device format. In addition, extra effort to follow Mobile Accessibility Standards were used, so that persons with disabilities could use a variety of the Financial Services that are offered Online.

Convenient KEB Internet Banking Service for Everyone - Objective This project took a totally of 8 months to complete and was launched in September 2012. The goal was to make it possible for every Users to have a great experience while utilizing KEB Open Banking. Major objectives were to Comply with Anti-Discrimination against persons with the Disabilities Act (began in April 2013) and receive Web Accessibility Authorization; Create an Open Web which supports multiple OS and Browser Platforms; Make e-Finance System-related improvements by complying with Web Standards and Web Accessibility; Improve Information Accessibility by offering Voice Services and Keyboard Controls. This project needed to follow Open Web Standards, which means that it can be accessed through any browsers. Open Banking development will focus on conforming to Web Accessibility Standards, unlike previous versions, and will offer a more enhanced Personalized Banking experience. - Implementation Intentions Strategic Keywords for KEB Open Banking are Smart, Speed and Simple. The goal was to give Users convenient access to Financial Services Anytime and Anywhere. The Design emphasized a User-centered UI and Intuitive Navigation. Frequently used Services were strategically placed on the Main Page, so that users can easily and quickly access desired Services. In this UI Revision, much attention was used to highlight KEB Bank’s global presence by applying today’s cutting-edge Design, as well as satisfying the current tastes of KEB Banks’ Korean Users at the same time.

In order to provide better service to the this User Segment, the Client wanted to create a Service specifically aimed at Foreigners living in Korea. - Implementation Intentions Simplify the Website and offer a more Specialized Service targeted towards Foreigners. - Objective Since Korea Exchange Bank (KEB) Card did not have a Mobile Web Page, customer’s found it difficult find information about cards and card-related services. In order to resolve these inconveniences and also to secure the way of advertising in a mobile environment, KEB Card decided to develop a Mobile Web presence. - Implementation Intentions We summed up and rearranged the original contents to adjust to a Mobile environment, which is much smaller than a Computer-based Web. We also develop the accessibility to PR Contents, such as an Event Page and Promotion Page. - Features The great advantage of the mobile environment is that it is accessible anywhere and at anytime. In order to utilize this strength, the KEB Mobile Web Page is automatically adapted to a device’s resolution and offers optimized Web viewing. The Web Page also uses the way of Flicking, Scroll and Tapping to utilize the characteristics of a Mobile device.
