Standard Composition

Data for composition (given proportion of substances in weight-%). The default composition for reading the input data is Exact composition based on products. The breakdown into components is possible for several levels, but every product must contain their components in the same characteristic.

The calculation of the standard composition take the upper limit of a component proportion into account (if this value is given). Thus it is ensured that the maximum possible concentration is taken into account ( worst case scenario).

Safety Data Sheet - Data Maintenance with MSDSMaker

Rule set assigns additional phrases to the specification depending on given physical/chemical and legislative data

Its use is not limited to the assignment of SDS-related phrases only

The user can create and manipulate criteria for writing phrases

Example

DAPEC calculation resulted in classification “R34 Causes burns”, symbol C

MSDSMaker assigns to

Chapter 4: “Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water.“

Chapter 7: “Avoid contact with skin and eyes.“ and “Do not breathe vapours or spray mist.“

Chapter 8: “Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection.”
