And What About Us?And What About Us?

TechieTechieBid.comBid.com

•Acts not only as a third party connecting users across the internet but also sponsor auctions of retail items at non-retail prices.

•Focus on computer hardware eliminates the need to navigate through endless web pages looking for specific items. We feel this separates us from larger competitors such as eBay and U-Bid.

•We have a specific target market so we feel we can offer more customized services and support.

•Lower transaction fees than our competitors.

•We want to be the first auction site that offers new products, straight from the manufacturer, for auction.

•Alleviate the fear of online auctions through the enforcement of harsh penalties in the case of defaults

So Where Do We Fit In?So Where Do We Fit In?

•It seems apparent that the online auction market is a rapidly growing environment that can has room for more competitors.

•We feel that competitors entering the market now have the advantage of being able to adapt the strategies currently used by the industry leaders and make them our own.

•This market is ready for more innovative, consumer specific competitors.

•We believe we are that competitor.

AssumptionsAssumptionsOnce the user logs in, he or she has a secured connection for making transactions.

Once the user closes his or her external window, a logout has been completed.

All of the products in the database have not expired, and they are available to be auctioned.

If a user submits a bid that exceeds the minimum bid amount, he or she automatically wins the auction for that product.

A user can bid as many times as he or she wants until the product has been won.

Once a product has been won, the shipping information will be determined between the buyer and seller.

Once a product has been won, the user’s credit card will be charged automatically.

Once a product has been won, the item is deleted from the database.

All credit card numbers are valid.

Users will have the ability to upload pictures of items they want to auction.

Users will have a way to rate each other.
