ABOUT THE SUMMIT The first Global Health Literacy Summit is the first largest and most diverse globalgathering on health literacy. Organized by the International Health Literacy Associationand hosted by the E-DA Healthcare Group | I-Shou University, the first Global HealthLiteracy Summit will be held in Kaohsiung on October 26-28th, 2020. The summit willbring together over 500 people from 80 countries to network and share ideas on how toadvance health literacy. The main theme of the summit is “health literacy for all” to highlight the importance ofhealth equity, and ensuring there is a voice for all individuals. Plenary sessions focus onhealth literacy and the Sustainable Development Goals, health literacy and globalpolicies, digital health literacy and artificial intelligence, health literacy and equity. Thisinternational sharing platform aims at providing insights for policy-making,communication and innovation to promote health literacy.

The main theme of the summit is “health literacy for all” tohighlight the importance of health equity, and ensuring there is avoice for all individuals."
