Objectives
1. Improving coordination among subjects taught in the Degree in Nursing.
2. Designing a method to get students to work in a cooperative network, so as to enhance their motivation and commitment to their studies.
3. Assessing the structure of the network formed by participants.
4. Obtaining a high percentage of good academic results.
The general objective was fundamentally to improve the learning and teaching process for students of the Degree in Nursing through the application of a cooperative work methodology.

Conclusions
• The data obtained in this research have permitted corroboration of the claim that cooperative strategies favor engagement, and that a high level of engagement motivates students to achieve good academic results.
• The perspective of social networks was applied through Social Network Analysis to the concept engagement, providing empirical evidence that will assist in filling certain lacunae in the investigation of network variables and engagement.
• This information may be of use in the designing of cooperative programs for university students.
