raving comfort food during these cold winter months? Politifax editor Nick Acocella is back and ready to provide you with some food and conversation for the soul in Season Four of Pasta & Politics.

First up to the kitchen counter: Jon Bramnick, who has served in the New Jersey General Assembly since 2003, and as the Assembly Republican Minority Leader since 2012, in addition to occasional gigs as a stand-up comedian. What does it mean to be the funniest lawyer in New Jersey? Bramnick divulges on this, and the difference between being a Minority Leader with and without a Governor of your party, over Spaghetti with Broccoli and Anchovies.

Ever wonder how being Assembly Speaker changes your life? Craig Coughlin gives his perspective while preparing Mushroom Ravioli in a Mushroom Cream Sauce.

Ready for some more mouth-watering recipes? Senate Minority Leader Tom Kean Jr. is next up in the kitchen, cooking Rigatoni with Sausage and Broccoli in a Cream Sauce and discussing the responsibilities of family heritage, and the distinction between electoral politics and bipartisan cooperation in the Senate.

How do you make Ginger Spaghetti? Senator Vin Gopal is testing it out. He speaks about how his business expertise translated into political success, as well as the economic impact of the horse racing industry on New Jersey. Afterwards, Republican Doug Steinhardt tries his hand at Pappardelle with Beef Ragu, and discusses the responsibilities of being a State Chairman. And with the final recipe of the season, Senator Troy Singleton whips up Pork Chops Lucanian Style over Strozzapreti with Olive Oil and Garlic.
