Dear Sir/Madam,

LETTER OF CLARIFICATION

I am applying for a visitor’s visa to the United Kingdom to spend my two weeks break

from work. I was spposed to go on break from work dring the !hristmas holidays perthe "ontra"t I signed with my employers. #his was not possible de to my $ob des"ription

at that time and work load dring the festive season.

I have now been given the opportnity to go on break on % th &ebrary '()). I woldtherefore want to take this opportnity to tor the United Kingdom.

I applied for United Kingdom visitor’s visa last year when I was given my annal leave. Iwanted to go on a tor to varios torist sites bt my visa appli"ation was refsed de to

reasons whi"h I wold want to "larify in this appli"ation. I also did not add "ertain

do"ments in my earlier appli"ation bt these do"ments have now been added in this

appli"ation. My visa appli"ation nmber was UK/ACCRA !!"#

&irst and foremost one of the reasons on whi"h my appli"ation was refsed was that my

 bank statement was not adited or "ontrolled by the bank. I wold therefore want to"larify something abot this statement made by the "onslar. I presented a statement from

S*+S bank. I have a savings a""ont with them.

-hen I reested for my bank statement at the bank I told the offi"er in "harge

spe"ifi"ally that I did not want an interim bank statement. I made my bankers aware that Iam applying for a visa so they shold print my statement in a way sited for visa

 prposes.I was really srprised when the statement was given to me be"ase I realied it was

 printed on a normal 01 sheet in bla"k and white with no se"rity featres on the paper. I

asked to see the bran"h manager, when I spoke to him he said that is how their statements

are printed now and that they have notified the varios embassies. I went to the bank after my visa appli"ation was refsed and I made him aware that the statement print ot was

one of the reasons I my visa appli"ation was refsed. 2e dire"ted me to the 2ead

arters, after eniries I was told the same thing, that the bank statement printed ot tome is what the bank isses now for visa appli"ation.

#herefore my appli"ation being refsed on the gronds that, the bank statement I

 presented was not adited or "ontrolled by the bank does not hold sin"e what I presentedis a statement issed by the bank for visa appli"ation prposes. It is not an interim

statement.

2owever another reason on whi"h my appli"ation was refsed was that, there was noindi"ation of salary re"eived from my employers looking at the transa"tions on my bank

statement. I wold also want to "larify this reason. I stated in my appli"ation that my

salary is not fi3ed and that I am paid based on a per"entage of profit generated by the

"ompany. I again stated that I also do private work for people bt that money does go into

the "ompany’s "offers, therefore I am able to generate e3tra in"ome. I mistakenly did not

state in my appli"ation that the salary I re"eive from my employers is not paid throghmy bank a""ont and that it is given to me in a form of "ash whi"h I later deposit myself

into my bank a""ont. I have therefore added deposit slips of salary given to me in the

form of "ash by my employers whi"h I have deposited into my bank a""ont. I have alsoadded re"eipt and invoi"es of "stomers who I do private work for.

0nother reason on whi"h my appli"ation was refsed was based on the reason that eventhogh I indi"ated that I am employed fll time by #.0. Mntari 4ngineering there was

no eviden"e indi"ating my employment. I have added a "opy of my appointment letter to

this appli"ation.

I wold retrn to *hana after my holidays sin"e I have a "areer here and I have also got a

family I am raising.

I hope with these things "larified, I will be granted the opportnity to go to the United

Kingdom for my holidays.
